Baab Masjid Aur Namaz Ki Jagahain

وَحَدَّثَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ، وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «مَنْ فَاتَتْهُ الْعَصْرُ، فَكَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ أَهْلَهُ وَمَالَهُ»

Urdu Translation

  عمرو بن حارث نے ابن شہاب سے ، انھوں نے سالم بن عبداللہ سے اور انھوں نے اپنے والد سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’جس شخص کی عصر کی نماز رہ گئی تو گویا اس کے ہل وعیال اور اسکا مال بتاہ و برباد ہو گئے ۔ ‘ ‘

English Translation

Abdullah relates on the authority of his father. He who missed his afternoon prayer it is as though he was deprived of his family and property.
