حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّاءُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ تَطَهَّرَ فِي بَيْتِهِ، ثُمَّ مَشَى إِلَى بَيْتٍ مَنْ بُيُوتِ اللهِ لِيَقْضِيَ فَرِيضَةً مِنْ فَرَائِضِ اللهِ، كَانَتْ خَطْوَتَاهُ إِحْدَاهُمَا تَحُطُّ خَطِيئَةً، وَالْأُخْرَى تَرْفَعُ دَرَجَةً»

Urdu Translation

  حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے ، کہا : رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ‘ ‘ جس نے اپنے گھر میں وضو کیا ، پھر اللہ کے گھروں میں سے اس کے کسی گھر کی طرف چل کر گیا تاکہ اللہ کے فرضوں میں سے ایک فریضے کو ادا کرے تو اس کے دونوں قدم ( یہ کرتے ہیں کہ ) ان میں سے ایک گناہ نٹاتا ہے اور دوسرا درجہ بلند کرتا ہے

English Translation

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be' upon him) said: He who purified himself in his house, and then he walked to one of the houses of Allah for the sake of performing a Fard (obligatory act) out of the Fara'id (obligatory acts) of Allah, both his steps (would be significant) as one of them would obliterate his sin and the second one would raise his status.
