Baab Masjid Aur Namaz Ki Jagahain

وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ نَسِيَ صَلَاةً، أَوْ نَامَ عَنْهَا، فَكَفَّارَتُهَا أَنْ يُصَلِّيَهَا إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا»

Urdu Translation

سعید نے قتادہ سے اور انھوں نے حضرت انس بن مالک ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سےحدیث سنائی ‘ کہا : اللہ کے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا : ‘ ‘ جو شخص کوئی نماز بھول گیا یا اسے ادا کرتے وقت سوتا رہ گیا تو اس ( نماز ) کا کفارہ یہی ہے کہ جب اسے یاد آئے وہ اس نماز کو پڑھ لے ۔ ‘ ‘

English Translation

Qatada narrated on the authority of Anas b. Malik that the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said: He who forgets the prayer, or he slept (and it was omitted), its expiation is (only) that he should observe it when he remembers it.
