Abdullah reported: None of you should give a share to Satan out of your self. He should not deem that it is necessary for him to turn but to the right only (after prayer). I saw the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) turning to the left.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ وَوَكِيعٌ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَا يَجْعَلَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ لِلشَّيْطَانِ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ جُزْءًا لَا يَرَى إِلَّا أَنَّ حَقًّا عَلَيْهِ أَنْ لَا يَنْصَرِفَ إِلَّا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ أَكْثَرُ مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ

  ابو معاویہ اور وکیع نے اعمش سے ، انھوں نے عمارہ سے ، انھوں نے اسود سے اور انھوں نے حضرت عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ ( بن مسعود ) سے روایت کی ، کہا : تم میں سے کوئی شخص اپنی ذات میں سے شیطان کاحصہ نہ رکھے ( وہم اور وسوسے کا شکار نہ ہو ) یہ خیال نہ کرے کہ اس پر لازم ہے کہ وہ نماز سےدائیں کے علاوہ کسی اور جانب سے رخ نہ موڑے ، میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اکثر دیکھا تھا ، آپ بائیں جانب سے رخ مبارک موڑتے تھے ۔
