Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: Allah has not heard anything (more pleasing) than listening to the Prophet reciting the Qur'an in a sweet loud voice.

و حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا هِقْلٌ عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا أَذِنَ اللَّهُ لِشَيْءٍ كَأَذَنِهِ لِنَبِيٍّ يَتَغَنَّى بِالْقُرْآنِ يَجْهَرُ بِهِ

  حییٰ بن ابی کثیرؒ نے ابو سلمہ سے اور انھوں نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی انھوں نے کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فر مایا : اللہ تعا لیٰ نے ( کبھی ) کسی چیز پر اس طرح کا ن نہیں دھرا جیسے وہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ( کی آواز ) پر کا ن دھرتا ہے جو بلند آواز کے ساتھ خوش الحانی سے قراءت کرتا ہے ۔ "
