Qatada said: I heard Anas saying that the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said to Ubayy the same thing.

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبٍ الْحَارِثِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْحَارِثِ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأُبَيٍّ بِمِثْلِهِ

خالد بن حارث نے کہا : شعبہ نے ہمیں قتادہ کے حوالے سے حدیث بیان کی ، انھوں نے کہا : میں نے حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے سنا ، وہ کہہ رہے تھے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ابی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے کہا ۔ ۔ ۔ ( آگے سابقہ حدیث ) کے مانند ہے ۔
