حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ جَاءَ حَبَشٌ يَزْفِنُونَ فِي يَوْمِ عِيدٍ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَدَعَانِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَوَضَعْتُ رَأْسِي عَلَى مَنْكِبِهِ فَجَعَلْتُ أَنْظُرُ إِلَى لَعِبِهِمْ حَتَّى كُنْتُ أَنَا الَّتِي أَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ النَّظَرِ إِلَيْهِمْ

Urdu Translation

  جریر نے ہشام سے ، انھوں نے اپنے والد ( عروہ ) سے اور انھوں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت کی ، انھوں نے کہا : حبشی آکر عید کے دن مسجد میں ہتھیاروں کے ساتھ اچھل کود رہے تھے ، ( ہتھیاروں کا مظاہرہ کررہے تھے ) تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے بلایا ، میں نے اپنا سر آپ کے کندھے پر رکھا اور ان کا کھیل ( کرتب ) دیکھنے لگی ( آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھڑے رہے ) یہاں تک کہ میں نے خود ہی ان کے کھیل کے نظارے سے واپسی اختیار کی ۔

English Translation

A'isha reported that some Abyssinians came and gave a demonstration of armed fight on the 'Id day in the mosque. The Apostle of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) invited me (to see that fight). I placed my head on his shoulder and began to see their sport till it was I who turned away from watching them.
