حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى عَلَى قَبْرٍ بَعْدَ مَا دُفِنَ فَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا قَالَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ فَقُلْتُ لِلشَّعْبِيِّ مَنْ حَدَّثَكَ بِهَذَا قَالَ الثِّقَةُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ هَذَا لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ حَسَنٍ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ ابْنِ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَ انْتَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى قَبْرٍ رَطْبٍ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَصَفُّوا خَلْفَهُ وَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعًا قُلْتُ لِعَامِرٍ مَنْ حَدَّثَكَ قَالَ الثِّقَةُ مَنْ شَهِدَهُ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ

Urdu Translation

  حسن بن ربیع اور محمد بن عبداللہ بن نمیر نے کہا : ہمیں عبداللہ بن ادریس نے شیبانی سے حدیث سنائی ، انھوں نے شعبی سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے میت کے دفن کیے جانے کے بعد ایک قبر پر نماز جنازہ پڑھی اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس پر چار تکبیریں کہیں ۔ شیبانی نے کہا : میں نے شعبی سے پوچھا : آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کویہ حدیث کس نے بیان کی؟انھوں نے کہا : ایک قابل اعتماد ہستی ، عبداللہ ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے ۔ یہ حسن کی حدیث کے الفاظ ہیں اور ابن نمیر کی روایت میں ہے کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایک گیلی ( نئی ) قبر کے پاس تشریف لے گئے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس پر نماز ( جنازہ ) پڑھی اور انھوں نے ( صحابہ کرام رضوان اللہ عنھم اجمعین ) نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پیچھے صفیں بنائیں اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے چار تکبیریں کہیں ۔ میں نے عامر ( بن شراحیل شعبی ) سے پوچھا : آپ کو ( یہ حدیث ) کس نے بیان کی؟انھوں نے کہا : ایک قابل اعتماد ہستی جو اس جنازے میں شریک تھے حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے ۔

English Translation

Sha'bi reported that the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) observed prayer over a grave after the dead was buried and he recited four takbirs over him. Shaibani said: I said to Sha'bi: Who narrated it to you? He said: An authentic one, 'Abdullah b. 'Abbas. This is the word of a hasan hadith. In the narration of Ibn Numair (the words are): The Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) went to the grave which had been newly prepared and prayed over it, and they also prayed who were behind him and he recited four takbirs. I said to 'Amir: Who narrated it to you? He said: An authentic one who saw him, i e. Ibn 'Abbas.
