حَدَّثَنَا عَوْنُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ الْكُوفِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِرَجُلٍ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِمَشَاقِصَ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ
حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے ، انھوں نے کہا : نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس ایک آدمی لایا گیا جس نے اپنے آپ کو ایک چوڑے تیر سے قتل کرڈالا تھا تو آپ نے ( خود ) اس کی نماز جنازہ نہیں پڑھی ۔ ( دوسروں کو پڑھنے کا حکم دیا جس طرح ابتداء میں آپ دوسروں کو مقروض کا جنازہ پڑھنے کا حکم دیتے تھے ۔ )
Jabir b. Samura reported: (The dead body) of a person who had killed himself with a broad-headed arrow was brought before the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ), but he did not offer prayers for him.
