حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ فُضَيْلُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْمَعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ هِلَالٍ الْعَبْسِيُّ عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ جَاءَ نَاسٌ مِنْ الْأَعْرَابِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالُوا إِنَّ نَاسًا مِنْ الْمُصَدِّقِينَ يَأْتُونَنَا فَيَظْلِمُونَنَا قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْضُوا مُصَدِّقِيكُمْ قَالَ جَرِيرٌ مَا صَدَرَ عَنِّي مُصَدِّقٌ مُنْذُ سَمِعْتُ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا وَهُوَ عَنِّي رَاضٍ

Urdu Translation

  عبدالواحد بن زیاد نے کہا : ہمیں محمد بن ابی اسماعیل نے حدیث سنائی ، انھوں نے کہا : ہمیں عبدالرحمان ہلال بن عبسی نے حضرت جریر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے حدیث بیان کی ، انھوں نے کہا : کچھ بدوی لوگ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور کہنے لگے : کچھ زکاۃ وصول کرنے والے لوگ ہمارے پاس آتے ہیں اور ہم پر ظلم کرتے ہیں تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : "" اپنے زکاۃ وصول کرنے والوں کو راضی کیاکرو ۔ "" حضرت جریر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے کہا : جب سے میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے یہ حدیث سنی ہے تو میرے پاس سے جو کوئی زکاۃ وصول کرنے والا گیا ، راضی گیا ۔

English Translation

Jabir b. 'Abdullah reported: There came people from among the Bedouins to the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) and said: Collectors of Sadaqa come to us and treat us unjustly. Upon this the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said: Please your collectors. Jarir said: Ever since I heard it from the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) no collector had departed but was pleased with me.
