حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ غِيَاثٍ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْفِقِي أَوْ انْضَحِي أَوْ انْفَحِي وَلَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِيَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكِ

Urdu Translation

  حفص بن غیا ث نے ہشام سے انھوں نے فا طمہ بنت منذر سے اور انھوں نے حضرت اسماء بنت ابی بکر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روا یت کی انھوں کہا : کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ سے فر ما یا : " ( مال کو ) خرچ ۔ ۔ ۔ یا ہر طرف پھیلاؤ یا ( پانی کی طرح ) بہاؤ ۔ ۔ ۔ اور گنو نہیں ورنہ اللہ بھی تمھیں گن گن کر دے گا ۔

English Translation

Asma', daughter of Abu Bakr (Allah be pleased with him), reported: The Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said to me: Spend, and do not calculate, or otherwise Allah would also calculate in your case.
