حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الرَّازِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَالِكًا ح و حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ إِسْحَقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ أَمْشِي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَيْهِ رِدَاءٌ نَجْرَانِيٌّ غَلِيظُ الْحَاشِيَةِ فَأَدْرَكَهُ أَعْرَابِيٌّ فَجَبَذَهُ بِرِدَائِهِ جَبْذَةً شَدِيدَةً نَظَرْتُ إِلَى صَفْحَةِ عُنُقِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَدْ أَثَّرَتْ بِهَا حَاشِيَةُ الرِّدَاءِ مِنْ شِدَّةِ جَبْذَتِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ مُرْ لِي مِنْ مَالِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي عِنْدَكَ فَالْتَفَتَ إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَضَحِكَ ثُمَّ أَمَرَ لَهُ بِعَطَاءٍ

Urdu Translation

  امام مالک بن انس نے اسحاق بن عبد اللہ بن ابی طلحہ سے اور انھوں نے حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی انھوں نے کہا میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ چل رہا تھا آپ ( کے کندھوں ) پر خاصے موٹے کنا رے کی ایک نجرانی چادرتھی اتنے میں ایک بدوی آپ کے پا س آگیا اور آپ کی چا در سے ( پکڑ کر ) آپ کو زور سے کھنچا میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی گردن کی ایک جا نب کی طرف نظر کی جس پر اس کے زور سے کھنچنے کے با عث چا در کے کنا رے نے گہرا نشان ڈا ل دیا تھا پھر اس نے کہا : اے محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم !اللہ کا جو مال آپ کے پاس ہے اس میں سے مجھے بھی دینے کا حکم دیں تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس کی طرف متوجہ ہو ئے ہنس پڑے اور اسے کچھ دینے کا حکم دیا ۔

English Translation

Anas b. Malik reported: I was walking with the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) and he had put on a mantle of Najran with a thick border. A bedouin met him and pulled the mantle so violently that I saw this violent pulling leaving marks of the border of the mantle on the skin of the neck of the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ). And he (the bedouin) said: Muhammad, issue command that I should be given out of the wealth of Allah which is at your disposal. The Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) turned his attention to him and smiled, and then ordered for him a gift (provision).
