حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ عُبَيْدَ بْنَ السَّبَّاقِ، قَالَ: إِنَّ جُوَيْرِيَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَقَالَ: «هَلْ مِنْ طَعَامٍ؟» قَالَتْ: لَا، وَاللهِ، يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَا عِنْدَنَا طَعَامٌ إِلَّا عَظْمٌ مِنْ شَاةٍ أُعْطِيَتْهُ مَوْلَاتِي مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ، فَقَالَ: «قَرِّبِيهِ، فَقَدْ بَلَغَتْ مَحِلَّهَا»

Urdu Translation

  لیث نے ابن شہاب سے روایت کی کہ عبید بن سباق نے کہا نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی زوجہ حضرت جویریہ ( بنت حارث ) رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے ان کو بتا یا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان کے ہاں تشریف لا ئے اور پوچھا : "" کیا کھانے کی کو ئی چیز ہے؟ "" انھوں نے عرض کی نہیں اللہ کے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اللہ کی قسم ! ہمارے پاس اس بکری کی ہزی ( والے گو شت ) کے سوا کھا نے کی اور کو ئی چیز نہیں جو میری آزاد کردہ لو نڈی کو بطور صدقہ دی گئی تھی آپ نے فر ما یا : "" اسے ہی لے آؤ وہ اپنے مقام پر پہنچ چکی ہے ( جس کو صدقہ کے طور پر دی گئی تھی اسے مل گئی ہے اور اس کی ملکیت میں آچکی ہے )

English Translation

Juwayriya, the wife of the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said that Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) came to her and said: Is there anything to eat? She said: Messenger of Allah, I swear by God, there is no food with us except a bone of goat which my freed maid-servant was given as sadaqa. Upon this he said: Bring that to me, for it (the sadaqa) has reached its destination.
