حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ بِلَالًا يُؤَذِّنُ بِلَيْلٍ، فَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا حَتَّى تَسْمَعُوا أَذَانَ ابْنِ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ»

Urdu Translation

  یونس ، ابن شہاب ، سالم بن عبداللہ ، حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے فرمایا کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے یہ ارشاد فرماتے ہوئے سنا حضرت بلال رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ رات کے وقت ہی اذان دے دیتے ہیں ۔ لہذا تم کھاتے اور پیتے رہو یہاں تک کہ تم حضرت ابن مکتوم رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کی اذان سنو ۔

English Translation

Abdullah b. 'Umar (Allah be pleased with both of them) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: Bilal announces Adhan during the night, so you eat and drink, till you hear the Adhan of Ibn Umm Maktum.
