وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، قَالَ: انْطَلَقْتُ أَنَا وَمَسْرُوقٌ، إِلَى عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، فَقُلْنَا لَهَا: أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُبَاشِرُ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ؟ قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ، وَلَكِنَّهُ كَانَ أَمْلَكَكُمْ لِإِرْبِهِ أَوْ مِنْ أَمْلَكِكُمْ لِإِرْبِهِ شَكَّ أَبُو عَاصِمٍ.

Urdu Translation

  محمد بن مثنی ، ابو عاصم ، ابن عون ، ابراہیم ، اسود ، فرماتے ہیں کہ میں اور مسروق حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کی خدمت میں آئے تو ہم نے آپ سے عرض کیا کہ کیا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم روزہ کی حالت میں اپنی کسی زوجہ سے بغل گیر ہوجایا کرتے تھے ۔ حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے فرمایا ہاں لیکن آپ تو تم میں سب سے زیادہ اپنے جذبات پر کنٹرول رکھنے والے تھے یا فرمایا کہ تم میں سے کون ہے جو آپ کی طرح اپنے جذبات قابو میں رکھ سکے ابو عاصم راوی کو شک ہے ۔ ( مفہوم ایک ہی ہے )

English Translation

Aswad reported: I and Masruq went to 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) and asked. her if the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) embraced (his wives) while fasting. She said: Yes; but he had the greatest control over his desire among you: or he was one of those who had control over his desire.
