Baab Itikaf Ke Ehkaam O Masail

وحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، أَنَّ نَافِعًا، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا: «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَعْتَكِفُ الْعَشْرَ الْأَوَاخِرَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ» قَالَ نَافِعٌ: وَقَدْ أَرَانِي عَبْدُ اللهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ: «الْمَكَانَ الَّذِي كَانَ يَعْتَكِفُ فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ»

Urdu Translation

  یونس بن یزید نے مجھے خبر دی کہ نافع نے انھیں حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے واسطے سے حدیث بیان کی کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم رمضان کے آخری عشرے میں اعتکاف فرماتے تھے ۔ نافع نے کہا : عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے مجھے مسجد میں وہ جگہ بھی دیکھائی جہاں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ا عتکاف کیا کرتے تھے ۔

English Translation

Abdullah b. Umar (Allah be pleased with both of them) reported that the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) used to observe i'tikaf in the last ten days of Ramadan. Nafi' said: Abdullah (Allah be pleased with him) showed me the place in the mosque where the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) used to observe i'tikaf.
