Baab Hajj Ke Ehkaam O Masail

وحَدَّثَنَاه قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُ: الْإِحْرَامُ مِنَ الْبَيْدَاءِ، قَالَ: الْبَيْدَاءُ الَّتِي تَكْذِبُونَ فِيهَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، «مَا أَهَلَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا مِنْ عِنْدِ الشَّجَرَةِ، حِينَ قَامَ بِهِ بَعِيرُهُ»

Urdu Translation

  حاتم یعنی ابن اسماعیل نے مو سیٰ بن عقبہ سے انھوں نے سالم سے حدیث بیان کی کہا : جب ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے یہ کہا جا تا کہ احرا م بیدا ء سے ( باند ھا جا تا ) ہے تو وہ کہتے پیداء وہ مقام ہے جس کے حوالے سے تم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر غلط بیا نی کرتے ہو ۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کسی اور جگہ سے نہیں درخت کے پاس ہی سے احرا م باندھا تھا ۔ جب آپ کی اونٹنی آپ کو لے کر کھڑی ہو گئی تھی ۔

English Translation

Salim reported that when it was said to Ibn 'Umar (Allah be pleased with them) that the state of Ihram (commences from)a al-Baida' he said: Al-Baida', you attribute lie about it to the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ). And the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) did not enter upon the state of Ihram but near the tree when his camel stood up with him.
