وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرِ بْنِ رِبْعِيٍّ الْقَيْسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِشَامٍ الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: قَدِمْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُهِلِّينَ بِالْحَجِّ، فَأَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَجْعَلَهَا عُمْرَةً وَنَحِلَّ، قَالَ: وَكَانَ مَعَهُ الْهَدْيُ، فَلَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ أَنْ يَجْعَلَهَا عُمْرَةً

Urdu Translation

  ابو بشر نے عطاء بن ابی رباح سے انھوں نے جا بر بن عبد اللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی کہا : ہم حج کا تلبیہ کہتے ہو ئے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ ( مکہ ) آئے آپ نے ہمیں حکم دیا کہ ہم اس ( حج کی نیت اور احرا م کو ) عمرے میں بدل دیں اور ( عمرے کے بعد ) حلال ( عمرے سے فارغ ) ہو جائیں ( حضرت جابر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے ) کہا : آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ قربانی تھی اس لیے آپ اپنے حج کو عمرہ نہیں بنا سکتے تھے ۔

English Translation

Jabir b. 'Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported: We set out with Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as Muhrim for Hajj. The Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) commanded us to make this Ihram for Umra, and some put it off (after performing 'Umra), but the Prophet ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) had sacrificial animals with him, so he could not make it (this Ihram) as that of Umra.
