حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ بَشَّارٍ، جَمِيعًا عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَسَّانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: «صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الظُّهْرَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ، ثُمَّ دَعَا بِنَاقَتِهِ فَأَشْعَرَهَا فِي صَفْحَةِ سَنَامِهَا الْأَيْمَنِ، وَسَلَتَ الدَّمَ، وَقَلَّدَهَا نَعْلَيْنِ، ثُمَّ رَكِبَ رَاحِلَتَهُ، فَلَمَّا اسْتَوَتْ بِهِ عَلَى الْبَيْدَاءِ أَهَلَّ بِالْحَجِّ»

Urdu Translation

  شعبہ نے قتادہ سے انھوں نے ابو حسان سے انھوں نے ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی فر ما یا : آپ نے ذوالحلیفہ میں ظہر کی نماز ادا فرمائی ۔ پھر اپنی اونٹنی منگوائی اور اس کی کو ہا ن کی دا ئیں جا نب ( ہلکے سے ) زخم کا نشان لگا یا اور خون پونچھ دیا اور دو جوتے اس کے گلے میں لتکا ئے ۔ پھر اپنی سواری پر سوار ہو ئے ۔ ( اور چل دیے ) جب وہ آپ کو لے کر بیداء کے اوپر پہنچی تو آپ نے حج کا تلبیہ پکا را ۔

English Translation

Ibn 'Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) reported that Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) observed the Zuhr prayer at Dhu'l-Hulaifa; then called for his she-camel and marked it on the right side of its bump, removed the blood from it, and tied two sandals round its neck. He then mounted his camel, and when it brought him up to al-Baida', he pronounced Talbiya for the Pilgrimage.
