حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، وَعَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ، كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ الضَّحَّاكِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ الضَّحَّاكِ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ حَلَفَ بِمِلَّةٍ سِوَى الْإِسْلَامِ، كَاذِبًا مُتَعَمِّدًا، فَهْوَ كَمَا قَالَ، وَمَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِشَيْءٍ، عَذَّبَهُ اللهُ بِهِ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ» هَذَا حَدِيثُ سُفْيَانَ، وَأَمَّا شُعْبَةُ فَحَدِيثُهُ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ حَلَفَ بِمِلَّةٍ سِوَى الْإِسْلَامِ، كَاذِبًا، فَهْوَ كَمَا قَالَ، وَمَنْ ذَبَحَ نَفْسَهُ بِشَيْءٍ، ذُبِحَ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

Urdu Translation

  شعبہ نے ایوب سے ، انہوں نے ابو قلابہ سے اور انہوں نے حضرت ثابت بن ضحاک انصاری ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے روایت کی ، نیز سفیان ثوری نے بھی خالدحذاء سے ، انہوں نے ابو قلابہ سے ارو انہوں نے حضرت ثابت بن ضحاک ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے روایت کی ، انہوں نے کہا کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’جس نے جان بوجھ کر اسلام کے سوا کسی اور ملت میں ہونے کی جھوٹی قسم کھائی تو وہ اپنے قول کے مطابق ( اسی مذہب سے ) ہو گا اور جس نے اپنے آپ کو کسی چیز سے قتل کیا ، اللہ اس کو جہنم کی آگ میں اسی چیز سے عذاب دے گا ۔ ‘ ‘ یہ سفیان کی بیان کردہ حدیث ہے ۔ اور شعبہ کی روایت یوں ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’ جس نے اسلام کے سوا کسی اور ملت میں ہونے کی جھوٹی قسم کھائی ( اس روایت میں ’’جان بوجھ کر ‘ ‘ کے الفاظ نہیں ) تو وہ اسی طرح ہے جس طرح اس نے کہا ہے اور جس نے اپنے آپ کو کسی چیز سے ذبح کر ڈالا ، اسے قیامت کے دن اسی چیز سے ذبح کیا جائے گا ۔ ‘ ‘

English Translation

It is narrated on the authority of Thabit b. Dahhak that the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) observed: He who took deliberately a false oath on a religion other than Islam would become that which he had professed. And he who killed himself with anything Allah would torment him with that in the Fire of Hell.
