حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى وَهُوَ الْقَطَّانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ، مَوْلَى أَسْمَاءَ، قَالَ: قَالَتْ لِي أَسْمَاءُ: وَهِيَ عِنْدَ دَارِ الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ هَلْ غَابَ الْقَمَرُ؟ قُلْتُ: لَا، فَصَلَّتْ سَاعَةً، ثُمَّ قَالَتْ: يَا بُنَيَّ هَلْ غَابَ الْقَمَرُ؟ قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، قَالَتْ: ارْحَلْ بِي، فَارْتَحَلْنَا حَتَّى رَمَتِ الْجَمْرَةَ، ثُمَّ صَلَّتْ فِي مَنْزِلِهَا، فَقُلْتُ لَهَا: أَيْ هَنْتَاهْ لَقَدْ غَلَّسْنَا، قَالَتْ: كَلَّا، أَيْ بُنَيَّ، «إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَذِنَ لِلظُّعُنِ»

Urdu Translation

  یحییٰ قطا ن نے ہمیں ابن جریج سے حدیث بیان کی ، ( کہا : ) اسما رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کے آزاد کردہ غلام عبد اللہ نے مجھ سے حدیث بیان کی کہا : حضرت اسماء رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے جب وہ مزدلفہ کے ( اندر بنے ہو ئے مشہور ) گھر کے پاس ٹھہری ہو ئی تھیں ، مجھ سے پوچھا : کیا چا ند غروب ہو گیا؟ میں نے عرض کی : نہیں ، انھوں نے گھڑی بھر نماز پڑھی ، پھر کہا : بیٹے !کیا چاندغروب ہو گیا ہے؟ میں نے عرض کی ، جی ہاں ۔ انھوں نے کہا : مجھے لے چلو ۔ تو ہم روانہ ہو ئے حتی کہ انھوں نے جمرہ ( عقبہ ) کو کنکریاں ماریں پھر ( فجر کی ) نماز اپنی منزل میں ادا کی ۔ تو میں نے ان سے عرض کی : محترمہ !ہم را ت کے آخری پہر میں ( ہی ) روانہ ہو گئے ۔ انھوں نے کہا : بالکل نہیں ، میرے بیٹے !نبی صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم نے عورتوں کو ( پہلے روانہ ہو نے کی ) اجا زت دی تھی ۔

English Translation

Abdullah, the freed slave of (Hadrat) Asma', reported: Asma' (Allah be pleased with her), as she was in the house at Muzdalifa, asked me whether the moon had set. I said: No. She prayed for some time, and again said: My son has the moon set? I said: Yes. And she said: Set forth along with me, and so we set forth until (we reached Mini) and the stoned at al-Jamra. She then prayed in her place. I said to her: Respected lady, we set forth (in the very early part of dawn) when it was dark, whereupon she said: My son, there is no harm in it; Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) had granted permission to women.
