حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ، وَابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانُوا يَنْزِلُونَ الْأَبْطَحَ. قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ تَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ، وَقَالَتْ: «إِنَّمَا نَزَلَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، لِأَنَّهُ كَانَ مَنْزِلًا أَسْمَحَ لِخُرُوجِهِ»

Urdu Translation

  زہری نے سالم سے روایت کی کہ ابو بکر عمر اور ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ ابطح پڑاؤکیا کرتے تھے ۔ زہر ی نے کہا مجھے عروہ نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے خبر دی کہ وہ ایسا نہیں کرتی تھیں اور ( عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے ) کہا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم وہاں اترے تھے کیونکہ پڑاؤ کی وہ جگہ آپ کے ( مکہ سے ) نکلنے کے لیے زیادہ آسان تھی ۔

English Translation

Salim reported that Abu Bakr, 'Umar and Ibn Umar used to halt at Abtah. 'Urwa narrated from 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) that he did not observe this practice and said: Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) halted there, for it is a place from where it was easy to depart.
