Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: God willing, when Allah has granted us victory, our halt tomorrow will be at Khaif, where they (the unbelievers of Mecca) had taken an oath on unbelief.

وحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ، حَدَّثَنِي وَرْقَاءُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «مَنْزِلُنَا إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ، إِذَا فَتَحَ اللهُ الْخَيْفُ، حَيْثُ تَقَاسَمُوا عَلَى الْكُفْرِ»

  اعرج نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے اور انھوں نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فر ما یا ان شاء اللہ جب اللہ نے فتح دی تو ہمارا قیام خیف ( محصب ) میں ہو گا ۔ جہاں انھوں ( قریش ) نے باہم مل کر کفر پر ( قائم رہنے کی قسم کھا ئی تھی ۔
