حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ، تُسَافِرُ مَسِيرَةَ يَوْمٍ إِلَّا مَعَ ذِي مَحْرَمٍ»

Urdu Translation

  ابن ابی ذئب سے روایت ہے ( کہا ) ہمیں سعید ابن ابی سعید نے اپنے والد سے حدیث بیان کی انھوں نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے اور انھوں نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فر ما یا : کسی عورت کے لیے جو اللہ اور یو م آخرت پر ایما ن رکھتی ہے حلال نہیں کہ وہ ایک دن کی مسا فت طے کرے مگر یہ کہ محرم کے ساتھ ہو ۔

English Translation

Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: It is not lawful for a woman who believes in Allah and the Hereafter to undertake a day's journey except in the company of a Mahram.
