Baab Razaat Ke Ehkaam O Masail

وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَقُولُ: أَمَا تَسْتَحِي امْرَأَةٌ تَهَبُ نَفْسَهَا لِرَجُلٍ، حَتَّى أَنْزَلَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: {تُرْجِي مَنْ تَشَاءُ مِنْهُنَّ وَتُؤْوِي إِلَيْكَ مَنْ تَشَاءُ} [الأحزاب: 51] ، فَقُلْتُ: «إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَيُسَارِعُ لَكَ فِي هَوَاكَ»

Urdu Translation

  عبدہ بن سلیمان نے ہشام سے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے اپنے والد ( عروہ ) سے ، انہوں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سےروایت کی ، وہ کہاکرتی تھیں : کیا اس عورت کو حیا محسوس نہیں ہوتی جو خود کو کسی مرد کے لیے ہبہ کرتی ہے ۔ یہاں تک کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہ نازل فرمایا : " آپ ان عورتوں میں سے جسے چاہیں پیچھے کریں اور جسے چاہیں اپنے پاس جگہ دیں ۔ " تو میں نے کہا : بلاشبہ آپ کا رب آپ کی خواہش ( کو پورا کرنے ) میں جلدی کرتا ہے

English Translation

Hisham reported on the authority of his father that 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) used to say: Does the woman not feel shy of offering herself to a man? Then Allah the Exalted and Glorious revealed this verse: You may defer any of them you wish and take to yourself any you wish. I ('A'isha said): It seems to me that your Lord hastens to satisfy your desire.
