وحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، وَحَرْمَلَةُ، وَاللَّفْظُ لِحَرْمَلَةَ، قَالَا: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ، وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَبْتَاعُوا الثَّمَرَ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهُ، وَلَا تَبْتَاعُوا الثَّمَرَ بِالتَّمْرِ»، قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ: وَحَدَّثَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ سَوَاءً

Urdu Translation

  ابن شہاب سے روایت ہے ، انہوں نے کہا : مجھے سعید بن مسیب اور ابوسلمہ بن عبدالرحمٰن نے حدیث بیان کی کہ حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا : اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : "" پھل ( پکنے ) کی صلاحیت ظاہر ہونے سے پہلے مت خریدو اور نہ خشک کھجور کے عوض ( درخت پر لگا ) پھل خریدو ۔ "" ابن شہاب نے کہا : مجھے سالم بن عبداللہ بن عمرو نے اپنے والد سے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی ، بالکل اسی کے مانند

English Translation

Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: Do not buy the fruit until their condition is clear, and do not buy the fresh dates. A hadith like this has been reported by Ibn 'Umar through another chain of transmitters.
