حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا هِقْلٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زِيَادٍ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: كَانَ لِرِجَالٍ فُضُولُ أَرَضِينَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ فَضْلُ أَرْضٍ فَلْيَزْرَعْهَا، أَوْ لِيَمْنَحْهَا أَخَاهُ، فَإِنْ أَبَى فَلْيُمْسِكْ أَرْضَهُ

Urdu Translation

  اوزاعی نے عطاء سے اور انہوں نے حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی ، انہوں نے کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے کچھ صحابہ کے پاس ضرورت سے زائد زمینیں تھیں تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " جس کے پاس ضرورت سے زائد زمین ہو وہ یا تو اسے خود کاشت کرے یا اپنے بھائی کو عاریتا دے دے ۔ اگر وہ نہیں مانتا تو وہ اپنی زمین اپنے پاس رکھ لے ۔ " ( کسی غیر شرعی طریقے سے کرائے پر نہ دے

English Translation

Jabir b. Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported some of the Companions of Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) had surplus of land. Thereupon Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said: He, who has surplus land (in his possession) should cultivate it, or he should lend it to his brother for benefit, but if he refuses to accept it, he should retain it
