Jabir b. Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) having forbidden taking of rent or share of land.

وحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الرَّازِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّيْبَانِيُّ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ الْأَخْنَسِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُؤْخَذَ لِلْأَرْضِ أَجْرٌ، أَوْ حَظٌّ
