حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنِ اتَّخَذَ كَلْبًا إِلَّا كَلْبَ مَاشِيَةٍ، أَوْ صَيْدٍ، أَوْ زَرْعٍ، انْتَقَصَ مِنْ أَجْرِهِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ قِيرَاطٌ»، قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ: فَذُكِرَ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ قَوْلُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، فَقَالَ: «يَرْحَمُ اللهُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ كَانَ صَاحِبَ زَرْعٍ»

Urdu Translation

  امام زہری نے ابوسلمہ سے اور انہوں نے حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی ، انہوں نے کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : "" جس نے مویشیوں ، شکار یا کھیتی ( کی حفاظت کرنے ) والے کتے کے سوا ( کوئی اور ) کتا رکھا اس کے اجر سے ہر روز ایک قیراط کم ہو گا ۔ "" امام زہری نے کہا : حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کے سامنے حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے اس قول کا تذکرہ کیا گیا تو انہوں نے کہا : اللہ تعالیٰ ، ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ پر رحم فرمائے! وہ ( خود ) کھیت کے مالک تھے ۔ ( انہوں نے یہ بات ضبط کی ۔ )

English Translation

Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: He who kept a dog except one meant for watching the herd, or for hunting or for watching the fields. he lost two qirat of reward every day. Zuhri said: The words of Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) were conveyed to Ibn Umar who said: May Allah have mercy upon Abu Huraira; he owned a field.
