Sahih Muslim 4106 - The Book Of Musaqah

حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبٍ الْحَارِثِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَارِبٌ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: فَاشْتَرَاهُ مِنِّي بِثَمَنٍ قَدْ سَمَّاهُ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الْوُقِيَّتَيْنِ، وَالدِّرْهَمَ وَالدِّرْهَمَيْنِ، وَقَالَ: أَمَرَ بِبَقَرَةٍ فَنُحِرَتْ، ثُمَّ قَسَمَ لَحْمَهَا

Urdu Translation

  خالد بن حارث نے ہمیں حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : ہمیں شعبہ نے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے کہا : مجھے محارب نے حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے خبر دی اور انہوں نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے یہی قصہ بیان کیا ، مگر انہوں نے کہا : آپ نے مجھ سے اونٹ قیمتا خرید لیا جس کی انہوں ( جابر رضی اللہ عنہ ) نے تعیین بھی کی ، ( اس روایت میں ) انہوں نے دو اوقیہ ، ایک درہم اور دو درہموں کا تذکرہ نہیں کیا اور کہا : آپ نے گائے کا حکم دیا تو اسے ذبح کیا گیا ، پھر آپ نے اس کا گوشت تقسیم کر دیا ۔

English Translation

Jabir b. 'Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported this narration from Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) but with this variation that he said: He (the Holy Prophet) bought the camel from me on a stipulated price. And he did not mention two 'uqiyas and a dirham or two dirhams, and he comanded a cow (to be slaughtered) and it was slaughtered, and he then distributed its flesh.
