حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، وَحَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ: حَدَّثَنَا، وقَالَ حَرْمَلَةُ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَسُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ، مَوْلَى مَيْمُونَةَ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَقَرَّ الْقَسَامَةَ عَلَى مَا كَانَتْ عَلَيْهِ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ

Urdu Translation

  یونس نے ابن شہاب سے خبر دی ، کہا : مجھے ابوسلمہ بن عبدالرحمان اور نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی زوجہ محترمہ حضرت میمونہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے آزاد کردہ غلام سلیمان بن یسار نے انصار میں سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ایک صحابی سے خبر دی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے قسامہ کو اسی صورت پر برقرار رکھا جس پر وہ جاہلیت میں تھی

English Translation

Sulaiman b. Yasar, the freed slave of Maimuna, the wife of Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ), narrated from one of the Ansari Companions of Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) that Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) retained (the practice) of Qasama as it was in the pre-Islamic days.
