The tradition has been narrated by a different chain of transmitters with the following additions: (i) Then be (the Messenger of Allah) said with his hands one upon the other: Kill them (who stand in your way).... (ii) They (the Ansar) replied: We said so, Messenger of Allah! He said: What is my name? I am but Allah's bondman and His Messenger.

وحَدَّثَنِيهِ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَزَادَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ بِيَدَيْهِ إِحْدَاهُمَا عَلَى الْأُخْرَى «احْصُدُوهُمْ حَصْدًا»، وَقَالَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ: قَالُوا: قُلْنَا ذَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، قَالَ: فَمَا اسْمِي إِذًا؟ كَلَّا إِنِّي عَبْدُ اللهِ وَرَسُولُهُ

  بہز نے کہا : سلیمان بن مغیرہ نے ہمیں اسی سند کے ساتھ حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے حدیث میں ( یہ ) اضافہ کیا : آپ نے دونوں ہاتھوں سے ، ایک کو دوسرے کے ساتھ پھیرتے ہوئے اشارہ کیا : ان کو اسی طرح کاٹ ڈالو جس طرح فصل کاٹی جاتی ہے انہوں نے حدیث میں ( یہ بھی ) کہا : ان لوگوں نے کہا : اللہ کے رسول! ہم نے یہ کہ تھا ۔ آپ نے فرمایا : " تو پھر میرا نام کیا ہو گا؟ ہرگز نہیں ، میں اللہ کا بندہ اور اس کا رسول ہوں
