Baab Jihad Aur Us Ke Doraan Rasool Saw Ke Ikhtiar Kerda Tareeqe

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جُنْدُبًا، يَقُولُ: أَبْطَأَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ: قَدْ وُدِّعَ مُحَمَّدٌ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: {وَالضُّحَى وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَى مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَى} [الضحى: 2]

Urdu Translation

  سفیان بن اسود بن قیس سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے جندب رضی اللہ عنہ کو یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا کہ ایک بار رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس جبرائیل علیہ السلام کی آمد میں تاخیر ہو گئی ، مشرکین کہنے لگے کہ محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو الوداع کہہ دیا گیا ۔ تو اللہ عزوجل نے یہ نازل فرمایا : " قسم ہے دھوپ چڑھتے وقت کی ، اور قسم ہے رات کی جب وہ چھا جائے! ( اے نبی! ) آپ نے رب نے نہ آپ کو رخصت کیا اور نہ بیزار ہوا

English Translation

It has been narrated on the authority of Aswad b. Qais who heard Jundub saying that Gabriel delayed his visit to the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) The polytheists began to say that Muhammad has been forsaken. At this Allah, the Glorious and Exalted, revealed: Wa'dd hd wa'l-laili iza saja, ma wadda'ka Rabbuka wa' ma qala [By the glorious morning light, and by the night when it is still: thy Lord has not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased].
