Jabir b. 'Abdullah reported that Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) forbade that any beast should be killed after it has been tied.

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ح و حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ح و حَدَّثَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُقْتَلَ شَيْءٌ مِنْ الدَّوَابِّ صَبْرًا

  یحییٰ بن سعید ، محمد بن بکیر اور حجاج بن محمد نے کہا : مجھے ابو زبیر نے بتایا ، انھوں نے حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے سنا ، کہہ رہے تھے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جانوروں میں سے کسی بھی چیز کو باندھ کر قتل کرنے سے منع فرمایا ہے ۔
