حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّاءُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ كُنَّا لَا نُمْسِكُ لُحُومَ الْأَضَاحِيِّ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ فَأَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَتَزَوَّدَ مِنْهَا وَنَأْكُلَ مِنْهَا يَعْنِي فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ

Urdu Translation

  زید بن ابی انیسہ نے عطاء بن ابی رباح سے ، انھوں نے جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : ہم تین دن سے زیادہ قربانیوں کا گوشت نہیں رکھتے تھے ۔ پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں حکم دیا کہ ہم اس میں سے زادراہ بنائیں اور اس سے کھائیں ، یعنی تین سے زیادہ ( دنوں تک )

English Translation

Jabir b. 'Abdullah reported: We did not eat the flesh of sacrificed animals beyond three (days), but then Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) commanded us to make it a provision for journey and cat it (beyond three days).
