و حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ إِنِّي لَقَائِمٌ عَلَى الْحَيِّ عَلَى عُمُومَتِي أَسْقِيهِمْ مِنْ فَضِيخٍ لَهُمْ وَأَنَا أَصْغَرُهُمْ سِنًّا فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ إِنَّهَا قَدْ حُرِّمَتْ الْخَمْرُ فَقَالُوا اكْفِئْهَا يَا أَنَسُ فَكَفَأْتُهَا قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَنَسٍ مَا هُوَ قَالَ بُسْرٌ وَرُطَبٌ قَالَ فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَنَسٍ كَانَتْ خَمْرَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ وَحَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ذَلِكَ أَيْضًا

Urdu Translation

  ابن علیہ نے کہا : ہمیں سلیمان تیمی نے بتا یا کہا : ہمیں حضرت انس بن ما لک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : میں اپنے قبیلے والوں اپنے چچاؤں کو ان کی ( شراب ) فضیخ پلا رہا تھا اور میں ہی ان میں سب سے کم سن تھا ، اتنے میں ایک شخص آیا اور کہا : "" شراب حرام کر دی گئی ہے ۔ تو ( ان ) لوگوں نے کہا : انس ! اس کو بہا دو ۔ میں نے وہ سب بہا دی ۔ ( سلیمان تیمی نے ) کہا : میں نے حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے پو چھا : وہ کیا تھا ( جس سے شراب بنا ئی گئی تھی ؟ ) انھوں نے کہا : وہ کچی اور پکی کھجور یں تھیں ( تیمی نے ) کہا : ابو بکر بن انس نے کہا : ان دنوں یہی ان کی شراب تھی ۔ سلیمان نے کہا : مجھے ایک شخص نے حجرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت بیان کی کہ خود انھوں نے ( انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ ) نے بھی یہی کہا تھا ۔

English Translation

Anas b. Malik reported: I was standing amongst the uncles of my tribe serving them Fadikh while I was the youngest of them, when a person came and said: Verily the use of liqour has been prohibited. They said: Anas, spill it away. So I spilt it. He (one of the narrators. Sulaiman Taimi) said that he asked Anas what that was (the Fadikh). He said: It had been prepared from unripe and ripe dates. Abu Bakr b. Anas said: It was their liquor in those days. Sulaiman said: A person narrated it to me from Anas b. Malik that he had said so.
