Baab Libaas Aur Zeenat Ke Ehkaam

حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ فَأَخْرَجَتْ إِلَيْنَا إِزَارًا غَلِيظًا مِمَّا يُصْنَعُ بِالْيَمَنِ وَكِسَاءً مِنْ الَّتِي يُسَمُّونَهَا الْمُلَبَّدَةَ قَالَ فَأَقْسَمَتْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُبِضَ فِي هَذَيْنِ الثَّوْبَيْنِ

Urdu Translation

  سلیمان بن مغیرہ نے کہا : ہمیں حمید نے ابو بردہ سے حدیث سنائی ، کہا : میں حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا تو انھوں نے ایک مو ٹا تہبند جو یمن میں بنایا جا تا ہے اور ایک اوپر کی چادر ( موٹی سخت اور پیوند لگےہو نے کی وجہ سے ) جسے مُلْبَدَہکہا : جا تا ہے نکال کر دکھا ئی ، کہا : انھوں نے اللہ کی قسم کھا ئی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انھی دوکپڑوں میں داعی اجل کو لبیک کہا تھا ۔

English Translation

Abu Burda reported: I visited A'isha and she brought out for us the coarse lower garfnent (of Allah's Messenger) made in Yemen and clothes made out of Mulabbada cloth, and she swore in the name of Allah that Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) died in these two clothes.
