حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لِقُتَيْبَةَ، وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ، قَالُوا - حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، عَنْ أَبِي أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ تَوَضَّأَ بِالْمَقَاعِدِ فَقَالَ: «أَلَا أُرِيكُمْ وُضُوءَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا» وَزَادَ قُتَيْبَةُ فِي رِوَايَتِهِ قَالَ: سُفْيَانُ: قَالَ أَبُو النَّضْرِ: عَنْ أَبِي أَنَسٍ قَالَ: وَعِنْدَهُ رِجَالٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

Urdu Translation

  قتیبہ بن سعید ، ابوبکر بن ابی شیبہ اور زہیر بن حرب نے کہا : ( اس حدیث کے الفاظ قتیبہ اور ابوبکر کےہیں ) ہمیں وکیع نے سفیان کے حوالے سے ابو نضر سے حدیث سنائی ، انہوں نے ابو انس سے روایت کی کہ حضرت عثمان ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ نے المقاعد کے پاس وضو کیا ، کیا کہنے لگے : کیا میں تمہیں رسول اللہ ﷺ کا وضو ( کر کے ) نہ دکھاؤں ؟ پھر ہر عضو کو تین تین بار دھویا ۔ قتیبہ نے اپنی روایت میں یہ اضافہ کیا : سفیان نے کہا : ابو نضر نے ابوانس سے روایت بیان کرتے ہوئے کہا : ان ( عثمان ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ ) کے پاس رسول ا للہ ﷺ کے صحابہ میں سے کئی لوگ موجود تھے ۔

English Translation

Abu Anas reported that Uthman performed ablution at Maqi'aid and said: Should I not show you the ablution performed by Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ )? And he then washed (the different parts of the body) three times. 4 Qutaiba has added in his narration the words: There were with him (with Uthman) Companions of Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ).
