Ibn 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) having said: Allah will not look upon him who trails his garment out of pride.

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ وَزَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ كُلُّهُمْ يُخْبِرُهُ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ إِلَى مَنْ جَرَّ ثَوْبَهُ خُيَلَاءَ

  امام مالک نے نافع عبد اللہ بن دینا اور زید بن اسلم سے روایت کی ، ان سب نے انھیں حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے خبر دی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرما یا : " جو شخص تکبر سے کپڑا گھسیٹ کرچلے اللہ تعا لیٰ اس کی طرف نظر تک نہیں کرے گا ۔ "
