Baab Libaas Aur Zeenat Ke Ehkaam

حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ نَافِعٍ أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ يَنَّاقَ عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ شَيْبَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ زَوَّجَتْ ابْنَةً لَهَا فَاشْتَكَتْ فَتَسَاقَطَ شَعْرُهَا فَأَتَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ زَوْجَهَا يُرِيدُهَا أَفَأَصِلُ شَعَرَهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لُعِنَ الْوَاصِلَاتُ

Urdu Translation

  زید بن حباب نے ابراہیم بن نافع سے روایت کی ، کہا : مجھے حسن بن مسلم بن یناق نے صفیہ بنت شیبہ سے خبر دی ، انھوں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت کی کہ انصار کی ایک عورت نے ا پنی بیٹی کی شادی کی ، وہ بیمار ہوگئی تو اس کے بال جھڑ گئے ، وہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئی اورعرض کی کہ اس کا خاوند اس کی رخصتی چاہتاہے ، کیا میں اس کے بالوں میں جوڑ لگادوں؟ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " جوڑنے والیوں پر لعنت کی گئی ہے ۔ "

English Translation

A'isha reported that a woman from the Ansar married her daughter who had lost her hair because of illness. She came to Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) and said: Her husband wants that false hair should be aaded to her head. Thereupon Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said: The woman who adds false hair has been cursed.
