Baab Muasharti Aadaab Ka Bayan

Abu Huraira reported that Abu'l-Qasim ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said: Give name (to your children) after my name but do not give the kunya (of Abu'l- Qasim) after my kunya. 'Amr reported from Abu Huraira that he did not say that he had heard it directly from Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ).

و حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَعَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَسَمَّوْا بِاسْمِي وَلَا تَكَنَّوْا بِكُنْيَتِي قَالَ عَمْرٌو عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَلَمْ يَقُلْ سَمِعْتُ

  ابو بکر بن ابی شیبہ ، عمرو ناقد ، زہیر بن حرب ، اور ابن نمیر نے کہا : ہمیں سفیان بن عینیہ نے ایوب سے حدیث بیان کی ، انھوں نے محمد بن سیرین سے روایت کی ، کہا : میں نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا : ابو القاسم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " میرے نام پر نام رکھو اور میری کنیت پر کنیت نہ رکھو ۔ " عمرو نےکہا " حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے ر وایت ہے " کہا اور " میں نے سنا " نہیں کہا ۔
