حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ النَّاقِدُ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ حَدَّثَنَا وَاللَّهِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ خُصَيْفَةَ عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ يَقُولُ كُنْتُ جَالِسًا بِالْمَدِينَةِ فِي مَجْلِسِ الْأَنْصَارِ فَأَتَانَا أَبُو مُوسَى فَزِعًا أَوْ مَذْعُورًا قُلْنَا مَا شَأْنُكَ قَالَ إِنَّ عُمَرَ أَرْسَلَ إِلَيَّ أَنْ آتِيَهُ فَأَتَيْتُ بَابَهُ فَسَلَّمْتُ ثَلَاثًا فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيَّ فَرَجَعْتُ فَقَالَ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تَأْتِيَنَا فَقُلْتُ إِنِّي أَتَيْتُكَ فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَى بَابِكَ ثَلَاثًا فَلَمْ يَرُدُّوا عَلَيَّ فَرَجَعْتُ وَقَدْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اسْتَأْذَنَ أَحَدُكُمْ ثَلَاثًا فَلَمْ يُؤْذَنْ لَهُ فَلْيَرْجِعْ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ أَقِمْ عَلَيْهِ الْبَيِّنَةَ وَإِلَّا أَوْجَعْتُكَ فَقَالَ أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ لَا يَقُومُ مَعَهُ إِلَّا أَصْغَرُ الْقَوْمِ قَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ قُلْتُ أَنَا أَصْغَرُ الْقَوْمِ قَالَ فَاذْهَبْ بِهِ

Urdu Translation

  عمرو بن محمد بن بکیر ناقد نے کہا : ہمیں سفیان بن عینیہ نے حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : اللہ کی قسم!ہمیں یزید بن خصیفہ نے بسر بن سعید سے حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : میں نے حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو کہتے ہوئے سنا : میں مدینہ منورہ میں انصار کی مجلس میں بیٹھا ہوا تھا اتنے میں ابو موسیٰ ڈرے سہمے ہوئے آئے ، ہم نے ان سے پوچھا آپ کو کیا ہوا؟ انھوں نے بتایا کہ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے میری طرف پیغام بھیجا ہے کہ میں ان کے پاس آؤں ، میں ان کے دروازے پر گیا اور تین مرتبہ سلام کیا انھوں نے مجھے سلام کا جواب نہیں دیا تو میں لوٹ آیا ، انھوں نے کہا : آپ کو ہمارے پاس آنے سے کس بات نے روکا؟میں نے کہا : میں آیا تھا ، آپ کے دروازے پر کھڑے تین بار سلام کیا ، آپ لوگوں نے مجھے جواب نہیں دیا ، اس لئے میں لوٹ گیا کیونکہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا تھا : "" جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص تین باراجازت مانگے اور اسے اجازت نہ دی جائے تو وہ لوٹ جائے ۔ "" حضرت عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے فرمایا : اس پر گواہی پیش کرو ورنہ میں تم کو سزا دوں گا ۔ حضرت ابی ابن کعب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے کہا : ان کے ساتھ صرف وہ شخص جا کرکھڑا ہوگا جو قوم میں سے سب سے کم عمر ہے ، حضرت ابو سعید رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے کہا : میں نے کہا کہ میں سب سے کم عمر ہوں توانھوں نے کہا : تم ان کے ساتھ جاؤ ( اور گواہی دو )

English Translation

Abu Sa'id Khudri reported: I was sitting in Medina in the company of the Ansar when Abu Musa came trembling with fear. We said to him: What is the matter? He said: 'Umar (Allah be pleased with him) sent for me. I went to him and paid him salutation thrice at (his) door but he made no response to me and so I came back. Thereupon he ('Umar) said: What stood in your way that you did not turn up? I said: I did come to you and paid you salutations at your door three times but I was not given any response, so I came back as the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) has said: When any one of you seeks permission three times and he is not granted permission, he should come back. Umar said: Bring a witness to support that you say, otherwise I shall take you to task. Ubayy b. Ka'b said: None should stand with him (as a witness) but the youngest amongst the people. Abu Sa'id said: I am the youngest amongst the people, whereupon he said: Then you go with him (to support his contention).
