حَدَّثَنِي قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ح و حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ يُونُسَ ح و حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نَظَرِ الْفُجَاءَةِ فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَصْرِفَ بَصَرِي

Urdu Translation

  یزید بن زریع ، اسماعیل بن علیہ اور ہشیم نے یو نس سے ، انھوں نے عمرو بن سعید سے ، انھوں نے ابوزرعہ سے ، انھوں نے حضرت جریر بن عبد اللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اچانک نظر پڑجا نے کے بارے میں پو چھا تو آپ نے مجھے حکم دیا کہ میں اپنی نظر ہٹا لوں ۔

English Translation

Jarir b. 'Abdullah reported: I asked Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) about the sudden glance (that is cast) on the face (of a non-Mahram). He commanded me that I should turn away my eyes.
