Baab Salamti Aur Sehet Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَنَّ امْرَأَةً بَغِيًّا رَأَتْ كَلْبًا فِي يَوْمٍ حَارٍّ يُطِيفُ بِبِئْرٍ، قَدْ أَدْلَعَ لِسَانَهُ مِنَ الْعَطَشِ، فَنَزَعَتْ لَهُ بِمُوقِهَا فَغُفِرَ لَهَا»

Urdu Translation

ہشام نے محمد ( بن سیرین ) سے ، انھوں نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے ، انھوں نےنبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فر ما یا : " ایک فاحشہ عورت نے ایک سخت گرم دن میں ایک کتا دیکھا جو ایک کنویں کے گردچکر لگا رہا تھا ۔ پیاس کی وجہ سے اس نے زبان باہر نکا لی ہو ئی تھی اس عورت نے اس کی خاطر اپنا موزہ اتارہ ( اور اس کے ذریعے پانی نکا ل کر اس کتے کو پلایا ) تو اس کو بخش دیا گیا ۔ "

English Translation

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may pace be upon him) as saying: A prostitute saw a dog moving around a well on a hot day and hanging out its tongue because of thirst. She drew water for it in her shoe and she was pardoned (for this act of hers).
