حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: - قَالَ أَنَسٌ - «وُقِّتَ لَنَا فِي قَصِّ الشَّارِبِ، وَتَقْلِيمِ الْأَظْفَارِ، وَنَتْفِ الْإِبِطِ، وَحَلْقِ الْعَانَةِ، أَنْ لَا نَتْرُكَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً

Urdu Translation

  حضرت انس بن مالک ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے روایت ہے ، انہوں نے کہا : ہمارے لیے مونچھیں کترنے ، ناخن تراشنے ، بغل کے بال اکھیڑنے اور زیر ناف بال مونڈنے کے لیے وقت مقرر کر دیا گیا کہ ہم ان کو چالیس دن سےزیادہ نہ چھوڑیں ۔

English Translation

Anas reported: A time limit has been prescribed for us for clipping the moustache, cutting the nails, plucking hair under the armpits, shaving the pubes, that it should not be neglected far more than forty nights.
