حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَا مِنْ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ إِلَّا نَخَسَهُ الشَّيْطَانُ، فَيَسْتَهِلُّ صَارِخًا مِنْ نَخْسَةِ الشَّيْطَانِ، إِلَّا ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَأُمَّهُ» ثُمَّ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: اقْرَءُوا إِنْ شِئْتُمْ: {وَإِنِّي أُعِيذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ} [آل عمران: 36]

Urdu Translation

  معمر نے زہری سے ، انھوں نے سعید سے ، انھوں نے حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فر ما یا : " پیدا ہونے والا جو بھی بچہ پیدا ہو تا ہے شیطان اس کو کچوکالگاتا ہے ۔ ماسوائے حضرت ابن مریم علیہ السلام اور ان کی والدہ کے ۔ " پھر حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے کہا : اگر تم چاہو تو یہ آیت پڑھو ( حضرت مریم علیہ السلام کی والدہ نے کہا : ) " میں اس کو اور اس کی اولاد کو شیطان مردود سے تیری پناہ میں دیتی ہوں ۔ "

English Translation

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: No child is born but he is pricked by the satan and he begins to weep because of the pricking of the satan except the son of Mary and his mother. Abu Huraira then said: You may recite if you so like (the verse): I seek Thy protection for her and her offspring against satan the accursed (iii. 36).
