Salim b. 'Abdullah reported on the authority of his father some of the dreams of Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) pertaining to Abu Bakr and Umar b. Khattab (Allah be pleased with them) and a hadith like this.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ رُؤْيَا رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي أَبِي بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا بِنَحْوِ حَدِيثِهِمْ

موسیٰ بن عقبہ نے سالم بن عبداللہ سے ، انھوں نے اپنے والد سے حضرت ابو بکر اور عمربن خطاب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے بارے میں نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا خواب ان سب کی حدیث کی طرح روایت کیا ۔
