حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، وَأَبُو الرَّبِيعِ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ - وَاللَّفْظُ لِأَبِي الرَّبِيعِ -، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أُرِيتُكِ فِي الْمَنَامِ ثَلَاثَ لَيَالٍ، جَاءَنِي بِكِ الْمَلَكُ فِي سَرَقَةٍ مِنْ حَرِيرٍ، فَيَقُولُ: هَذِهِ امْرَأَتُكَ، فَأَكْشِفُ عَنْ وَجْهِكِ فَإِذَا أَنْتِ هِيَ، فَأَقُولُ: إِنْ يَكُ هَذَا مِنْ عِنْدِ اللهِ، يُمْضِهِ

Urdu Translation

  حماد نے کہا : ہمیں ہشام نے اپنے والد سے ، انھوں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت کی ، کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نےفرمایا : " تم مجھے تین راتوں تک خواب میں دکھائی دیتی رہی ہو ، ایک فرشتہ ریشم کے ایک ٹکڑے پر تمھیں ( تمھاری تصویر کو ) لے کر میرے پاس آیا ۔ وہ کہتا : یہ تمھاری بیوی ہے ، میں تمھارے چہرے سے کپڑا ہٹاتا تو وہ تم ہوتیں ، میں کہتا : یہ ( پیشکش ) اگر اللہ کی طرف سے ہے تو وہ اسے پورا کردے گا ۔ "

English Translation

A'isha reported Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) having said: I saw you in a dream for three nights when an angel brought you to me in a silk cloth and he said: Here is your wife, and when I removed (the cloth) from your face, lo, it was yourself, so I said: If this is from Allah, let Him carry it out.
