حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، - قَالَ عَبْدٌ: أَخْبَرَنَا وقَالَ ابْنُ رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا - عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ الْجَزَرِيِّ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَوْ كَانَ الدِّينُ عِنْدَ الثُّرَيَّا، لَذَهَبَ بِهِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ فَارِسَ - أَوْ قَالَ - مِنْ أَبْنَاءِ فَارِسَ حَتَّى يَتَنَاوَلَهُ»

Urdu Translation

  یزید بن اصم جزری نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا؛ " اگر دین ثریا پر ہوتا تب بھی فارس کا کوئی شخص ۔ ۔ ۔ یا آپ نے فرمایا ۔ ۔ ۔ فرزندان فارس میں سے کوئی شخص اس تک پہنچتا اور اسے حاصل کرلیتا ۔ "

English Translation

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: If the din were at the Pleiades, even then a person from Persia would have taken hold of it, or one amongst the Persian descent would have surely found it.
