حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ جَمِيعًا عَنْ يَزِيدَ وَاللَّفْظُ لِزُهَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ وَهُوَ أَبُو قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ الرَّحَبِيِّ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا لَمْ يَزَلْ فِي خُرْفَةِ الْجَنَّةِ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا خُرْفَةُ الْجَنَّةِ قَالَ جَنَاهَا

Urdu Translation

  یزید بن ہارون نے کہا : ہمیں عاصم احول نے ابوقلابہ عبداللہ بن زید سے خبر سنائی ، انہوں نے ابو اشعث سے ، انہوں نے ابو اسماء رحبی سے ، انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے آزاد کردہ غلام حضرت ثوبان رضی اللہ عنہ سے اور انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا : " جس شخص نے کسی مریض کی عیادت کی وہ مسلسل جنت کی روش میں رہا ۔ " آپ سے پوچھا گیا : یا رسول اللہ! جنت کی روش کیا چیز ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا : " اس کے پھل جنہیں وہ چنتا ہے ۔ "

English Translation

Thauban, the freed slave of Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ), reported Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: He who visits the sick is supposed to remain in the fruit garden of Paradise. It was said: Allah's Messenger, what is this Khurfat-ul-jannah? He said: It is a place abounding in fruits.
